I've always liked the way the AM synchronous detector works in my little manual tuned Sony SRF-A100. Tuning it is more like tuning an FM radio the way it captures the signal. And like you said even on mono stations, set to wide stereo mode has great fidelity out the earphone jack to a suitable amplifier and speakers.rbrucecarter5 said:I should point out - C-Quam AM tuners are still in great demand, even if there are no AM stereo stations in the vicinity.
