WCTX'S NEW ON-AIR BRANDING WILL BE......

oldschooltv said:
What a pity - once again they have to try and capitalize on an already well established brand in this part of Connecticut (channel "9", UPN9, and now My9).

Can't say I'm surprised, only that I had hoped WCTX would more accurately identify themself as My59.

Maybe they'll choose the same exact logo as WWOR, so that when the Yankees games are being simulcasted, viewers will think it's being totally produced by WCTX. :p

Wow, looks like my joking around last month turned out to be an accurate stab at what WCTX would do!!! Because I just saw a promotion for WCTX in the fall, and their "My9" (what a suprise!) logo is actually EXACTLY the same thing that WWOR is using right now.

So all joking aside, when they simulcast the Yankees games, you'll be seeing the same logos coming from WWOR and WCTX. This makes it easy for WCTX, now they won't have to cover over the logo of the other station. Could you believe it!? ???

I saw the promo on WCTX, and I could've sworn that they were gonna be called MY TV 9 as opposed to MY 9. WWOR is gonna be MY 9.

I guess I'm just mad we now have confirmation that they're going to indeed use the "9".
