Yeah, the whole "groove" thing is weird. Is everyone sure this isn't another stunt?BarryATL said:Shake Your Groove Thing... Peaches and Herb. I wonder how many songs they can do keeping up the groove theme?

was there a "canton" buried in there that i didn't hear?
They can do a "fake" station ID any time they want, as long as they do the real one once an hour, near the TOH (although the top-of-hour part of the rule isn't enforced anymore).amos said:curious "ID" liner: WWVA ---------- ATLANTA.

Agreed. Except for Indie 103.1, most if not all happen at 5pm, don't they?jasonharper2007 said:It Sounds Like Another Stunt Because Each Song Has A Groove In Title A Format Flip Usually Happens At 5pm Local
sure, they can say whatever they like as long as they get the real ID in there once an hour, and of course the real ID is the call letters followed by the city of licence (anything else afterwards is fine, although not technically part of the ID). what caught my ear was them actually using the CALL LETTERS - WWVA in the cut.jabba17 said:They can do a "fake" station ID any time they want, as long as they do the real one once an hour, near the TOH (although the top-of-hour part of the rule isn't enforced anymore).amos said:curious "ID" liner: WWVA ---------- ATLANTA.

Yeah, I just heard - okay you got me on that one. But, why is the website half Viva/Groove?BarryATL said:musicfan101 said:The website is in Spanglish...it says 10,000 songs in a row, but no mention of 10,000 songs in a row on the air...every song so far involves the word "groove". They just did a blurb about 10,000 songs in a row. I really think the imaging would be way too expensive for a stunt.

Rock100.5 was at the start of AM drive at 6 AM, 94Q to Star 94 was (IIRC) at about 11 PM--sometime late in the evening. Wasn't Power 99 to 99X done late in the AM (almost midday)?Twitch said:musicfan101 said:Agreed. It varies....96 Rock flipped to Project at 12pm....99x relaunched at 97.9 at 9am. But yeah, most of our flips have happened during afternoon drive (I remember being on the way home from work when Z93 flipped to Dave).
