WKFS HD2 Debuts on 100.7

OK, let's look at this from a business perspective, such as CBA (cost/benefit/analysis).
The cost to Clear Channel to operate the new LPFM signals has to be extremely minimal - no studios, no local programming, no jocks, antennas on sticks they already own, etc.
The benefit, though also minimal, is probably to use these stations as "flankers" for the main station. Example, whatever ratings 100.7 receives - even .05 - will go toward the overall WKSF 107.1 rating and also take away - again minimal effect - to any competitors?
100.7 and 106.3 and 96.9 are actually translators not LPFM's

when you have W###?? like call letters thats a Translator'. an LPFM Calls are W???-LP are LPFM's
Yes translators and LPFM's are 2 completly different things, Translators are used to rebroadcast HD channels or AM's whereas LPFM's are community based non commercial licenses.

The lesson of translators vs. LPFM's is much appreciated. The point is still the same - they (CC) are using these "signals" as flankers to gain a few ratings points over the competition and, personally, I think they could serve a much more beneficial use (value) to the market they serve. :)

Driving down I-71 from Sharonville to Kenwood yesterday afternoon, I couldn't pick the station up at all. If the signal sucks that hard, no wonder they're not promoting it.

The signal is due south and only covers the City Of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, this was done to protect 50,000 watt WEEC in Springfield Ohio.

I get it fairly well on all of my portable and car radios here in Sharonville (next to I275 & Reed-Hartman)
It does begin to "fight" a little with WEEC in Springfield in the Blue Ash/Montgomery area then gets much better past Reagan Highway south on I71.

I don't understand it. Mix 94.1 ended up becoming a fail, so did Journey. Those listeners are loyal to Q, Rewind, and Warm... The River will fail. Not even being promoted.
Ah, the short-lived Journey...could've lasted longer if they added more than Rick Dees.
