The point you're missing Scott, is while it may be important or interesting to you to compare stations era to era or company to company the only reality is what works. Maybe they are doing well despite all the PC or whatever you call it - but I don't think Wild has ever had such great ratings - least not in a while. And that's the point they are trying to get you to understand. You can say you don't care for a station, but don't say it sucks, don't say it could be programmed by a monkey, don't say that all they care about is running cheap when you don't know what you are talking about, okay? As everyone has been telling you, what counts are ratings and revenue. They apparenly have both and in the business of radio, that's what counts. They are doing well with their target demo, and no offense, it's not a big deal to them that a 35 year old male doesn't like them. That's not a new thing. That's not the work of "bean counters" or corporoate edicts. It's always how it's been.
