On one hand you read post about needing an oldies station and when it comes there has to be some arm chair program directors that are ready to rip it apart. I listened to WLXN some this morning and the music was certainly oldies. There is a need to put some finishing touches on the liners and production but all in all I thought it sounded pretty good. Not real sure what the meaning of somebody there "that understood what radio was and had some strong sales and marketing". If the oldies are back and that is what so many criedout for, who the hell cares if they sell anything. Seems to me that is not a probelm for anybody but the Hilton's!

Via car radio
Traveled from High Point (Eastchester/Penny Road) to Jamestown to 311 & Business 85 and traveled south to Lexington.
Reception extremely poor until the Thomasville exits on Business 85. Signal became 'full quieting' at that point and was very good. This continued into Lexington. The signal began to degrade and was 'shaky' in South Lexington.
I imagine this will be a listening option for those in Thomasville/Lexington and points in between. I doubt the signal will make it consistently to High Point, W-S or Greensboro.
