I listened to 92.1 one day last week and what a trainwreck. I thought that putting Murphy, Sam and Jodie on in the morning was a mistake and then John Tesh in the afternoon, too much talk and not enough music, and now Good Mroning columbia, are you kidding me? It could be an enjoyable station much like the Dove in Tampa and have a morning show and shuffle the rest. I can now see why stations like Steve FM do so well with having no announcers.

My observation was that the music mix was an unfocused mess interspersed with syndicated programming and radio commercials that consisted of Tim Miller interviewing the client. The station sounds like it doesn't know who it is targeting or why.

It will be lights out anyways when a new owner takes over.. whether it is K-LOVE or some other format.

It will be interesting to see how the show is formatted. (mostly, how many songs per hour?) I agree theres a limited, albeit dedicated, audience for their style of non-stop talk, but Bill and Charlie are two of the nicest guys Ive ever met. And theyve certainly given plenty to Columbia radio. And Im ALL FOR actually ADDING live local morning radio instead of just piping in more crap (see Murphy Sam & Jodi)

I guess this means Bill didnt retire, as Cumulus would have many believe.

Oh, and as for Tim Miller - he'll wear out his welcome soon enough. He always does
(nothing personal. just look at the facts)
