Exactly. This is why you won't see an MNT affiliate in Boston or in Miami ever again. CBS is smart in dropping MNT on both WSBK and WBFS.
Well, the good news is that Boston can receive WPRI-DT2 with MyNetworkTV via an OTA Antenna, but the bad news is that Miami would be missing out on MyNetworkTV shows, as WTVX-DT3 or WTCN-CD cannot reach Miami or Ft. Lauderdale.

Well, MyNetworkTV would only be from WTVX-DT3, and it doesn't reach all of Broward County.
That's true by the way. From experience, you can get WPB stations in portions of Northern Broward County with very good signals from a very good antenna.

If MNTV goes down does it mean that Estrella and Azteca might be next and open new doors for more full power Ion stations plus Univision, Unimas, and Telemundo. I bet about 40 percent of former MNTV station might join the latter four networks. Ion took advantage of being carried on satellite.
