Your favorite Internet radio stations

@acheron82: That is what I'm talking about when I refer to some of these "Classic Rock" stations as Wanna Be. To me Classic Rock should be the same thing as AOR, Progressive Rock in that fact that you hear the entire song. I know on the CD now days Long Distance Runaround and The Fish are two separate tracks, however with programs like Mp3 Merge you can merge them together again so that Album Rockers can again experience what they grew up with. On The Legacy you hear the long version of the song.

Thank You!!! :)

Well, GoRadio AllIn, one of the original stations I've posted about, has apparently closed, changed, or something.
I've found a replacement though!

A Top 40 Internet station based in Canada, though they broadcast all over. This station seems to be serious about what they do, they say they've got an airstaff and I've heard stuff on their stream that leads me to believe it's true. :)
They've also been pretty quick to answer questions, and they don't have a bad selection of music.

The first internet radio network, that got me hooked on internet radio was RadioIO. www.radioio.com
Their playlists run deep and I am a huge fan of their decade pop channels. They really focus on playing all the hits and not the greatest hits.

www.southfloridaradio.com There are approximately a dozen stations including Top40, Jazz, Classical Rock, Country, Talk and Rat Pack.

Since i started listening to Tunein radio a few weeks ago i have been flashbacking to my youth by listening to Psychedelicized radio (60s) Peace man 8)

Jerome, AZ's great small-town community and Part 15 station, GulchRadio.

And ex-KPIG programmer Bill Goldsmith has built an interesting online radio community at Radio Paradise, which no doubt gets right inside listener's heads. The listener input must be very useful as a music selection device.

Legendary 80's on Live 365 - Robert Bass' station
That 70's Channel on Live 365
Q100 - a part 15 classic rock station from McKinney, TX
LG73 - very professional sounding hits station from Vancouver

My favorite internet radio station will be the first one that is operated like a real business, makes a consistent profit and serves an audience size that's equivalent to a major market radio station.

My new favorite is Swanksocietyradio....from Chicago. The play and mix anything funky...old school, new school, jazz, hiphop. They capture soul essence..lol 8)

Well, until one of those comes along, I'll just settle for whatever makes for a good listen. :)
