Your favorite Internet radio stations

AudioVision Broadcasting :)

181.fm Awesome 80's and Lite 80's --- lots of good stuff here
www.popgoldradio.com --- 50's,60's,70's oldies and great jingles
www.jamminoldiesradio.com --- a better, updated version of Rhythmic Oldies

My favorite internet radio station will be the first one that is operated like a real business, makes a consistent profit and serves an audience size that's equivalent to a major market radio station.

Well after being kicked off the corporate airwaves in Chicago, Smooth Jazz personality Rick O'Dell is making a serious attempt at this concept. His station is here at:

www.smoothjazzchicago.net

He's begun to sell a few advertisements. A very interactive Facebook page, and they promote concerts and even host events akin to what the Smooth Jazz station did when they were on the air. The playlist is good, but not obscure like many online sources. In an interview, he said he wants to capture the best of terrestrial radio and the best of internet radio, and he seems to be off to a pretty good start.

Big D Country, based in Tallahassee, Fla., is a country station that plays a wide variety of country music from roughly the 1950s to the present.

Thanks to some local donations of vinyl LPs and 45s we will be going deeper into the lists than the average classic country station. We take requests and usually have a live broadcast weekday afternoons and a country gospel show on Sunday mornings.

The station is available via Live365, Radio Terra and TuneIn.

Radio252 is a good station. I listened to that a few times when it was on Loudcaster. I sure miss Loudcaster.

If you love Classic Rock (Not Hits Only), Album Rock (Progressive Rock & Deep Tracks) you'll love our station:
http://thelegacy.shorturl.com (We have a Download link for our Android app on our webpage. You can also search iTunes or TuneIn for The Legacy.

we did have some growing pains with our former ISP but now we are using DishNet and we don't have the constant cut outs in our stream like Time Warner Cable. You'll love a break from chart Rock.
