Did you ever watch After Dark? That was a fantastic late night show. The only thing close to it I can think of here in America is maybe Politically Incorrect (which was also an ABC late night show before it went to HBO), but I thought BIll Maher was always a bit too in love with himself. All these shows are junk. On one side, you've got some guy saying "Trump bad!" and the audience whoops because "he said our thing!". On the other side, you've got some guy saying "liberals bad!" and some other people cheering because he said their thing. The performing monkeys keep saying their lines and nobody learns anything.
So if you own a broadcast license, I have freedom of speech to say whatever I want on your station?Tucker Carlson says the government is using the shooting to "trample the first amendment."

Isn't that what Kimmel said? Should Tucker get fired? Oh, that's right. He was.
What on earth are you trying to get at? That FCC threats are fine and dandy? So if you own a broadcast license, I have freedom of speech to say whatever I want on your station?

No! I'm saying we are burning our own coolies and had better wake the F up.What on earth are you trying to get at? That FCC threats are fine and dandy?
Agreed. What I'm saying is the government can't threaten to take away my license because it doesn't like what someone on my station said.
That's what the government is trying to do. That's what the president says they can do. They're wrong.
Another dead end for the Dems.Democrats in congress want the FCC chairman removed because of his role in this:

The GOP majority is small enough in both chambers that I wouldn't rule out this as a dead-end. And we're already less than 48 hours into this prolonged story basically taking over every narrative. And I want to win the PowerBall. Neither one is happening.
Just a few moments ago, the House fell right in line to pass a funding bill that some caucus members had railed against. Until they were told to get with the program. Optimism is great, but there is not a shred of evidence that even if there’s some manufactured “drama,” that the caucus will splinter away. They may need some bribes, some pork, some pet issues addressed, whatever. But there is a cold, hard political reality that they are firmly entrenched with the buffoon. The GOP majority is small enough in both chambers that I wouldn't rule it out.
Then they do this at their absolute own peril. Simple as that. Something tangently different is afoot here.Just a few moments ago, the House fell right in line to pass a funding bill that some caucus members had railed against. What do you mean by "coolies"?No! I'm saying we are burning our own coolies and had better wake the F up.
Oh no, not our coolies. No! I'm saying we are burning our own coolies
Who exactly is going to wake up? If someone is not “awake” they’re comatose. You have a hell of a lot of people awake on both sides. One group is cheering on the fascism they once decried because they’re getting to stick it to the other side. That other side has been warning about this all along. And the skewed electoral system favors group 1.and had better wake the F up.
