No, Evolution sounds great as it is. They need to tweak Jam'n so it sounds like Power. And it's not a Kiss clone. Jam'n SUCKS

I can't give an opinion on Evolution as I'm in Australia and can't access I Heart Radio from here.

Nova sound like they've taken a leaf out of Nova 969 in Sydney, Australia (www.novafm.com.au) - The Nova positioning statement when they launched in 2001 was "Sounds Different" & "Never more than 2 Ads in a row".

They were a Dance music focused station however they have since evolved into a Rhythmic CHR as the local public dance stations had more "street cred" (www.kissfm.com.au)

I noticed that WTKK is using the "Sounds Different" liners. That seems to sum up whats happening at 96.9.

All I know is, the Nova liner where the lady goes "please repeat" is ironically funny in that the music repeats every five hours!

My guess is it will be a mixture of all these formats they are stunting. There would be no reason to really stunt this why otherwise. Get interest peaked with all these groups then try and merge them and launch.

Which Dance Music station you all think will last longer? "Nova", "Evolution", or "Amp" For me, I 'd say "Nova" they have the BEST signal in and outside the city. I hope they go Rhythmic AC like ("Funkytown 93.7 HD2"=The former "Star 93.7") I hope they do like that. But for now, It sounds like "Nova" has a much better variety of Dance music than "Amp", and "Evolution"

Amp is not a dance station. Just cause it has a beat does not make it dance. Amp plays uptempo music but it's all pop or rhythmic type lyrics and feel. Evolution is a great station that is programming 24/7. "Nova" is just running a 5 hour loop hard to compare on that alone.Mind you that Nova is playing most of what Evolution has on rotation minus the mix shows. Btw GM needs to get a tune in app! My smart phone is not able to pick up the station.I'm ready for the next format to roll...
