I can't give an opinion on Evolution as I'm in Australia and can't access I Heart Radio from here.
Nova sound like they've taken a leaf out of Nova 969 in Sydney, Australia (www.novafm.com.au) - The Nova positioning statement when they launched in 2001 was "Sounds Different" & "Never more than 2 Ads in a row".
They were a Dance music focused station however they have since evolved into a Rhythmic CHR as the local public dance stations had more "street cred" (www.kissfm.com.au)

You know, that kind of makes sense. Especially since the harbor just disappeared. It could be a rhythmic leaning variety hits station. I know the urban audience would not appreciate that, but it makes sense with Pebbles and Cadillac Jack coming aboard!Mattcatlover456 said:I mean doesn't it make sense there going have a different format every day and then the official format will be an everything station. I don't know what Im talking about sorry.

Isn't there a market for that format in Boston?

It's primarily 90's based, with some 80's and 2000's songs mixed in. I think Pebbles would fit in perfectly with this format, and it's accessible to suburban audiences as well. Here's a sample hour.
Christina Aguilera "Genie In A Bottle"
Heavy D & The Boyz "Is It Good To You"
Cameo "Word Up"
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony "Thuggish Ruggish Bone"
SPOTS
Ready For The World "Love You Down"
Tevin Campbell "I'm Ready"
Eve f/ Alisha Keys "Gangsta Lovin'"
Tony Toni Tone "Feels Good"
Mariah Carey "Someday"
Boyz II Men "On Bended Knee"
SPOTS
Expose "Point Of No Return"
R. Kelly "Bump & Grind"
Karyn White "The Way You Love Me"
