Frankly, if Jamn didnt turn into Kiss-2, they may have been able to avoid this...

"We have identified a huge gap in the market to super-serve Adults who have graduated from the many teen stations currently in the city, but who still want a radio station that gives them some of the great throwbacks they grew up with, along with the best rhythmic hits of today, and without all the interruptions. Hot 96.9 is that station!"
... or at least it is until the 13,000 songs in a row are done... :![]()

Is this really the only demo advertisers are the slightest bit interested in? Will every station on the FM dial eventually be playing this sort of music, or hot AC, or contemporary pseudo-country, just to make sure everyone listening is 25 to 44 years old, female, not too highly educated, and a sucker for a slick ad? Is this what it's come to? :![]()

But it sounds by far like that at the moment. Lots of current and recurrent music and sometimes a 80's track like MJ. Sorry, missed oppertunity GM.

They need to focus more on the 80's and 90's "throwback" of their moniker and less currents. But for now it sounds alright. The Fugees - No Woman No Cry right now.
