102.5: this month's format

Word is, they are going back to 102.5 The Party. Is Scotty O coming back? Brad About You's Dirt Alert...LuLu and Trish?

Hey Venus Folks...nice try at a stunt...next time cover you basis, Imaging, Website, Etc.

I kind of like this. I wonder how long this stunt is going to last. I would think if they were going to be the party, they wouldn't stunt with Frank Sinatra

what format can they really do?

can't seriously challenge 92.9 without a decent signal (unless Clarksville is the target)

could Bud be considering "La Preciosa"?
nyahhhhhhh...although Dean did order the Rosetta Stone CD series

another classic rock? great idea.

maybe country signal #5? oops.

oldies channel/Imus combo?

hopefully this stunt will only run until 10:25am...and we'll know

I was hoping this stunt would end at 10:00 AM. I did notice in their top of the hour ID they didn't mention Clarksville. I thought in the past it was always WVNS Peagram, Clarksville, Nashville and the translators. I'm grasping at straws here trying to find clues. If I was to bet, it will be some form of Soft AC (softer than 92.9) or even Standards.

You've got to admit, this stunt is better than the the convuluted format change from 102.5 The Party to Venus where the jocks didn't know which station it was.

I just went to their website. It says they are playing Sinatra until midnight

Actually, Hispanic programming could work. Considering the limitation of the signal over the metro and budget constraints there is no way Cromwell can take a format on directly. They have failed in the past and will fail again. Besides, this will expand the company's mission of Sirva a las personas de la comunidad y la ayuda*

*A free translation program was used to create that line. I apologize ahead of time if it might be wrong.

it translates back (using the Yahoo Babel Fish tool) as
It serves to the people as the community and the aid

Is it possible it will be "Frank-FM", a variant

of Jack-Dave-Joe-Bob-Mike? How could a market possbly have too many Variety Hits stations?

P.S. And what-th-heck is 1550 The Light? It was included in some kind of Cromwell legal id I heard.

Actually, it the Cromwell mantra, "serving the community and helping people".

How about "Bud 102.5"?

Geez.. hate to see V-102.5 go. Signal problems aside, it was my favorite station. Guess I'd better dig up my cassette adapter so I can listen to my IPOD again.

This topic is now #1 on the list of most-viewed topics on this site! It was #9 this morning, and then later, #5. Kinda like watching your favorite songs climb the charts! ;D By the way, I don't remember the Venus logo on the front page of this site! ???
