That's your unproven opinion until PPM is here.
Robert Bass said:Not in Dallas, it isn't. Not until Summer of 2008.

Er, I really don't know how to respond to that, since it's November, 2007, right now.
Robert Bass said:In other words, PPM monitoring is not going on in this market, at the moment. It won't be, until the summer of 2008. By the time it arrives, it will be too late to see what kind of PPM ratings KVIL has with the earlier start of Chrisstmas music for 2007.

I understand that. And you said that they would be in for a surprise if they could see the PPM now. You don't know that, since there is no PPM now. In 2008, we can check. In 2007, it's merely your opinion.
Robert Bass said:Right... I am predicting they would be in for a real surprise, if it was underway already.![]()

No, sir, you said they WOULD be in for a big surprise. You didn't say it was a prediction, guess, etc. That's why I pointed out it was just opinion until there are facts to back it up.
Robert Bass said:I didn't think that was necessary, given the fine print at the bottom of the RI page. :![]()

Of course, it's not necessary. But, again, the point I'm trying to make is that nobody can say definitively, as you tried to, how the PPM would be affected since it's not here yet. Had you worded your message differently, I might not have felt the need to correct you.
Robert Bass said:You didn't correct me. I had to re-explain it in a way you would understand.
BenB said:Robert Bass said:You didn't correct me. I had to re-explain it in a way you would understand.
So you know that, with PPM that doesn't exist yet, or if it did, KVIL would see negative results?
I mean, I really do hate to keep ramming this thing into the ground, but surely you can admit that you can see the difference between you stating that they WOULD BE IN FOR SOME HUGE, NEGATIVE SURPRISES (your words) vs. using language such as they MIGHT, IT'S POSSIBLE THEY WOULD, or something more appropriate? Nobody KNOWS what they WOULD be in for. If you can't see that, then I can't explain it in a way that you would understand, and I'm done beating my head against the wall.

I have my favs, of course.... but they are a small bunch compared to the dirge of Christmas Rock the KVIL thinks is just what I wanted to hear..... look there---- some John Mellancamp !!!!! Oh BOY !!!

I refuse to listen to all that Christmas crap at all. And to play it even before Thanksgiving? Why to me, that is just "un-American"!
That is like Lowes or was it Home Depot calling a Christmas tree a Holiday Tree or Family Tree? I can't remember what they've changed the name to of a Christmas tree.
You don't play Christmas music nor do you get ready for Christmas until the day AFTER Thanksgiving. It should be a law!
