In other words, PPM monitoring is not going on in this market, at the moment. It won't be, until the summer of 2008. By the time it arrives, it will be too late to see what kind of PPM ratings KVIL has with the earlier start of Christmas music for 2007.

I just wonder how many history dorks in here thought of Christmas' origin when they read this sentiment... and how it began in Scandinavia and Germany. Oh yeah, thank God for Old Glory!

I don't mind real Christmas music.... But I tire very easily with Christmas Rock.

I have my favs, of course.... but they are a small bunch compared to the dirge of Christmas Rock the KVIL thinks is just what I wanted to hear..... look there---- some John Mellancamp !!!!! Oh BOY !!!

Most of my favorites were on KOAI (go figure). But I will say this, if I hear that daft Beatles tune (and so this is Christmas...) more than once per 15 minutes, I will become unhinged sprinkle some Christmas kerosene around LITE's parking lot. Geesh!

I refuse to listen to all that Christmas crap at all. And to play it even before Thanksgiving? Why to me, that is just "un-American"!

That is like Lowes or was it Home Depot calling a Christmas tree a Holiday Tree or Family Tree? I can't remember what they've changed the name to of a Christmas tree.

You don't play Christmas music nor do you get ready for Christmas until the day AFTER Thanksgiving. It should be a law!

I agree with you JayDavis about this issue. I like to see all stations start Christmas music Thanksgiving EVE or DAY!!! I hope all stores start looking at Christmas after Thanksgiving not OCT 1. We here in American have LOST Christmas!!! Christmas is about GOD and Jesus not music and stuff to buy at a store!!!! I love the way KLTY 94.9 does CHRISTMAS MUSIC!!! KLTY 94.9 should be the CHRISTMAS STATION not KVIL 103.7!!!!
