Barbecue at Pratt's house?

I realize Dave isn't here to respond, so this is for the rest of us - whether you use your real name or a "handle."
This is your opinion, nothing more. And you know what they say about opinions.
Expecting to filter "petty jealousies, personal agendas," etc. from a board dedicated to an industry rife with all those things is a bit unrealistic.
Maybe not to you, Dave, but it means something to the people who regularly post here.
Who invited you to change this place, Dave? It has been doing just fine without you, and will continue just fine from here on out. You wanted to enforce your view of how things should be around here without giving a moment of thought to the fact that this is not YOUR discussion board. It is not yours to change, and the fact that you stormed off angrily after failing to bend it to your will tells me maybe it will be better off without you.
The key words here being "thoughts and ideas." This is not a social networking site. It IS a board for discussing thoughts, ideas, gossip, etc. If the gossip and scuttlebutt coming from an anonymous poster looks fishy, we're free to judge for ourselves whether or not to accept it. If the ratings analysis from a poster who uses their real name is wrong, we're free to dispute it.
When it comes to thoughts and ideas, we should judge them on their own merit, not necessarily on who is posting them.
That's the way this place works, and if you don't like it, nobody is forcing you to post here.

To get a hold of insidethenumbers, contact Todd Wallace through his buddy, Pratt. And don't use fake names such as "Mark Twain" or "Lewis Carroll". Use your real name Samuel Clemens or Charles Dodgson.
So in conclusion, judging to the incredible amount of response this post has received, I say yes, yes a lot of people would be willing to show up to the barbecue. I mean, think about it like the laws of attraction between women and men in dating. If people weren't at least interested at some level, do you think they would've even responded? That's an indicator of interest... ;D (As always, only a very few people, will get the "joke". Like a radio station, my jokes only target a certain select crowd 
)

I don't think using real names matter too much anyway. Some time ago on facebook I was giving this girl a hard time, some girl who... well, is constantly rambling on twitter, MySpace, and facebook about random stuff, quotes...etc. and has a bit of an unnecessary attitude towards people for no reason. She once replied to me with a semi-rude letter, starting off with my real name, then ending with "and how about actually using your real name", which I did have up on facebook at the time. How did she even get my real name? Because it displayed in my comment that I sent to her since I WAS using my real name. Well, all I know is that if I go to the barbecue, she's not invited!
I should probably start using my real name on here, that way no one will know who I am and I would probably get away with much much more! Imagine that.. I could talk about dance music, then when the riots start breaking out as a result and cars are overturned, no one can find or blame me because they wouldn't know who I am or who (under my real name) brought up the topic!! ;D

Jonny Z did a remake of this! I still have it in the Dj Shy mix I recorded from 103.9 KPTY in 1997. I think it came before the "do you miss me" instrumental by Jocelyn Enriquez. It's such a shame that latin booty bass and latin house died.
