This is too bad. I can't say I have listened to P&K in a while, nor 105.3 for that matter. But I spent many an hour listening to them. I was listening to P&K overnights when they first started for Chicago. Their show was actually much more entertaining back then because they had few restrictions, could talk about what they wanted and could cover a topic for 2 hours if they desired.
The last few years they became hardly listenable by me because everything was overpackaged, overproduced, they couldn't really do anything for more than a segment. It just became more normal pablum that you get from any radio channel out there.
So I hope they do end up back on their feet wherever they go, as I got a lot of enjoyment out of them over the years. Just not much in the last few.
I would say Gavin Spittle the Program Directing Wonder Boy has to be on his way out. If not, CBS clearly doesn't care, because I think Gavin has done a very poor job with the station and essentially just managed to ride coattails. Whenever a tough decision had to be made, he seemingly has not made good ones.
