HoustonListener said:promising format concept but the music is not living up to the potential. I was expecting something more like Sirius/XM First Wave, not 75% of the same songs that were on the Point. At least they aren't playing Belinda Carlisle's "Circle in the Sand" every hour any more, but they definitely emphasize "80s and 90s" more than "alternative."

It was part of my Classic Album Set highlighting The Church's 1988 album Starfish. I played 'Reptile,' 'Under The Milky Way,' 'Blood Money,' and 'Spark'.
Here is a link to the full playlist from that show as I originally posted it on this message board:

I was driving and I swear Donna played Reptile on 103-7 Monday afternoon, or one day this week, I can't remember which

purpledevil said:Well, it's better than day 1. Still could lose the Edwin McCain, and Natalie Imbruglia. Ugh.
Love the Echo and the Bunnymen "Lips Like Sugar", "Don't Go" by Yaz, the infusion of Better Than Ezra, Nickelback, Bush, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, and Kid Rock. Romeo Void was a shocker, the first time I heard it on day 2, as was "Original Sin" by INXS. The problem I see is that they are probably going to beat these songs into the ground just like they did with the 80's tracks like "Circle in the Sand". I've heard R.E.M.'s "Stand" one time too many already. Same goes for "Criminal" by Fiona Apple. I've heard it at least 2x a day since Monday.
BTW, how can you be 80's and 90's Alternative without playing Weezer?

Some of the stuff I see posted here as "suggestions" are OK. But, some of the songs you guys suggest don't even test in the top 1000. Anywhere!
