Clear Channel just launched a rhythmic chr in st louis and they already own a chr and urban in that market

According to the logic presented above, a station could have a 0.2 share, be in 5th place 18-34, and still be a "good sell"
If an ATL station had a 0.2 share 18-34 it wouldn't be ranked 5th, it wouldn't even rank in the top 30, comment is illogical.
a top 3 market rank in any demo =$, being 5th isn't horrible however.
artiemad said:The "actual share number" you reference a 2.5, was the published 6+ share number, their share among 18-34 year olds was nearly 3 times higher than that. now you know.

Their overnight playlist is still solidly Rhythmic (i. e. Ludacris, Jonn Hart, Young Money, Miguel, French Montana, Trey Songz, Wiz Khalifa, etc.) There are still some pop tiles mixed in, but there's no way that's the Clear Channel Premium Choice playlist for CHR...
Did you mean Premium Choice Rhythmic?

Yes. I didn't know whether or not that was a standard premium choice playlist for all top 40 stations or if there was another more mainstream top 40 premium choice playlist out there. The one I heard on many of the west coast stations I've listened to are the same as the one on WiLD, but then again, all those stations are also rhythmic. However, sometimes that premium choice playlist sounds very mainstream top 40 in comparison to the rest of the station's actual playlist (which is probably why I considered it top 40 without thinking).

So, I guess this means Power is sticking to strictly pop music and plans to keep their playlist EXTREMELY tight (???) There's still about a dozen CHR songs they're not playing. UURRGGHH!!
