Technically, no, Don Barrett DID tweet that he heard a "buzz". Then again, this is the same guy who said his internet site was going out of business twice! I just don't get how a station is "mum" though?musicman3355 said:musicfan101 said:Who said the flip would be on Friday?Mac Daddy said:Well its friday and no word of a format flip yet. Usually some sort of stunting would happen on Friday. I think this thread is just false...
David at USC said:Were that to happen, it would fortify KSWD's hold on the classic rock / AOR audience, which would continue to be served. I could even see 95.5 continuing to serve up programs like the excellent Breakfast with the Beatles on Sunday mornings, similar to how 97.1 operated in its first few years as an FM talk station where they had some music programming on the weekends, but were full-on talk during the week.
Just an idea....

It seems that Salem doesn't necessarily care about their stations billing, they usually like to keep them and hold them off for sales or use them for their ministry purposes.
I've never quite understood why Salem has held off from placing The Fish on a stronger signal like 99.5. It seems like it would do a lot better on that signal...
