Pandora rocks why?

I tried to look for winamp wasn't there but aol music is there!

I tried that too shoutcast but no rock/alternative mix?

I think WXDX Pittsburgh and 979X Scranton are two stations you would enjoy

Google them and stream from their sites

No thx I'll stick with pandora, slacker and RADITAZ!

Slacker's caching feature is pretty awesome. No other service current offers caching features for the $4 price range. I am going to have to say though, Slacker is the only custom channel service in my opinion that can rival the deep playlists and diversity available through actual web streams.

Winamp is degrading slowly in my opinion. The last shoutcast update made it impossible to view long lists of stations. In fact last I tried it I couldn't get a list longer than 25, down from 500 in the earlier version. It makes browsing stations tedious and unenjoyable. Other than support for a few file formats I rarely use, I can't see any reason to use Winamp anymore over Windows Media Player, Rhapsody, or even Itunes.

I bet it's nice tho I'm not paying to listen to music so I can listen on the road wished it was free! :)

It's nice while it lasts. I have my doubts over how long Slacker will continue to exist. Great company, but their business is attractive to companies looking to gain a strong base in Internet radio. I wouldn't be shocked if SiriusXM tried to buy them out this year. :(

If that happens they belong with each other! I like a huge variety of rock and alternative. Pandora rocks classic rock, old and new alternative, new and old hard rock, heavy metal, extreme metal and Christian rock of all kinds! :)

Tried out Raditaz, it's pretty awesome! The site layout is smooth, and flows well, it also has a mobile app.

Pandora, I do like it, but I'll stick with Raditaz or Jango for radio.

Also, you sure you don't wanna check out WXDX? It sounds like your station based on your signature.

Bit of old rock, bit of new rock; highly suggest you check it out if you ever want!

Nope sorry theX is not my cup a tea I want to hear music and not talking to damn much!

I am guessing you like Jango?

I find Jango interesting. I have felt for quite a while that out of all the non-subscription services, they stand the best chance to compete with Pandora. Their system has a huge library and is better than most. Unfortunately they have relied on what seems like solely word-of-mouth to spread knowledge of their service and as a result no one seems to know about them. They get little to zero press coverage. Their latest website makeover is pretty good.

I've seen it on my apps!

But doesn't jango only work if you or I have a Facebook page?

Nevermind is there a way to censor the swearing?

Plus is their a way to mix the channels like pandora on jango?

I like jango but I don't want to listen to the bands that swear but overall it's like pandora?

I don't know. My music doesn't have many swear words so I have never looked. :)

Not that I know of. This feature isn't very common. Only Pandora and AccuRadio support it to my knowledge and I can't recommend AccuRadio to anyone until their sound quality improves.

Currently, I've been using Rdio.

Rdio is nice. Their $5 per month plan is an awesome deal, but currently they don't fit my needs as well as Rhapsody.
