"Satellite in Trouble as HD Grows"

zumahans you are a person with a truly wonderful sensayuma.

Radio doesn't exist for my kid either, except when he needs a weather or traffic report. Then it's right back to the Ipod.

Yeah, and iPods and streaming radio were huge on 9/11, and were exceptionally helpful during Hurricane Katrina.
That's strange. I thought IBOC supporters said it was HD Radio that saved all those lives. ??? ::)

Really? Who said that? Please post the quote, and who said it.

Of course, you won't answer that, much like you wont answer why you pulled your post about "anti-IBOC Psycho-Terrorists taking over Radio-Info, only to have a Court Order issued to restore it".

More lies from the anti-IBOC cartel.

I understand the HD Radio Alliance is a cartel. What organization is the anti-IBOC cartel, and how can I join?

----> I didn't arbitrarily bring up or insult your children.

Oh really? Here's what you said:

---->---->"That's a sad description of your children. ... Your description shows your children to be rather shallow. "

If that sincerely was not intended as an insult, then your apology is accepted.

If that was not intended as an apology, then you not only insult others children, you are not intelligent enough to understand the meaning of your own words.

So you aren't going to provide the information, then. So you admit that this statement is not true:

"That's strange. I thought IBOC supporters said it was HD Radio that saved all those lives?"

Anyway, you may believe that the HD Alliance is a Cartel, but you are wrong. It has been proven several times over by several people that you are wrong in insisting it's a cartel. Of course, you also made up the story about psycho-terrorists too, so we can't believe much of what you say. You're silence on this issue speaks volumes!

Since this fraudulent "technology" is being pushed onto broadcast stations, by the likes of iBiquity, the NAB, and Clear Channel, yes I would consider it a cartel.

That's a comment aimed at how you view your children. If your children are as you descibe not interested in anything but their Ipods and they are over the age of 16 I stand by my words. As they become young adults I hope they are interested in the world outside of their neighborhood. That includes an interest in sports, news and other information which radio provides. Ipods are recording devices so they don't provide the ame service. I'll bet your children are more well rounded then you give them credit for.

How are you using the word "fraudulent? My Receptor does all that it was advertised to do. No fraud there (My wife is an attorney. I'll ask her to legally define fraud incase I'm mistaken) and non one is forcing anyone to convert to IBOC. You own a station and want to stay analogue, that's fine. You want to run D Cam or FMeXtra, feel free. What's the problem? You just don't want the companies you named to run IBOC. That would be restraint of trade!

WHERE DID I SAY THAT?

I said that college kids do not use radio, even Deluded Eduardo has said that.

For you to extrapolate that into the broad brush that you paint is a stupid mistake.

I am sure, in fact I am positive, that your children cannot be as dense as the man claiming to be their father.

---->My wife is an attorney. I'll ask her to legally define fraud incase I'm mistaken.

"Fraud was when you asked me to marry you, dear."

Oh, cheap shot, sorry.

"FRAUD: An intentional perversion of truth for the purpose of inducing another in reliance upon it to part with some valuable thing belonging to him, or to surrender a legal right. See: David Eduardo."

Oh, another cheap shot. But that was from Black's Law Dictionary Fifth Edition. All except the David Eduardo part.

Ouch. That's a little harsh!

---->Ouch. That's a little harsh!

You absolutely right, and I apologize, but it was such a funny line that I could not resist.

You wife is obviously a saint.

False claims by iBiquity, concerning IBOC signal coverage/propagation and adjacent-channel interferece - they are being investigated by the CPB for these false claims.

Speaking of fraud, SayNo...

Now you're lying about your name. I guess you're admitting defeat, then! :D

She'd probably agree with you some days! ;)
