Pretty ordinary game. Typical, and trashy, halftime. Commercials? Humbug.
Got a dog for that.Chase those kids off the lawn yet?

I thought it was a pretty good broadcast by Fox tonight. Buck and Aikman were politically correct, (must have been coached). They did the right thing with a Super Bowl broadcast, being impartial and not getting too into football jargon. The NFL 100 video leading into the game was terrific. And the game was also terrific. A Fox win, no doubt.
Just out of interest, how did people on here watch? Online, OTA or 'traditional' cable?
Obviously, I loved the halftime show. I'm fortunate to know all four of the artists who appeared, and I'm so happy that they represented Hispanics so magnificently.
Granted the ability to dance like that and actually be singing at the same time would be difficult. Wasn't surprised when the halftime started with recorded tracks. I was however, disappointed that the lip-syncing was pretty bad. I get it; the show had much more emphasis on choreography, and less on musical talent.
Not to go as far as Landtuna with the bah-humbug, but they should ban lip-syncing a Superbowl halftime performance. To me, if you are a legitimate musical artist or group, then there is no bigger a stage than Superbowl to actually perform on. Step up like Prince did, and put on a real show. Even in the pouring rain if necessary.
