35.1 Story Television and the newly activated 35.12, which started running infomercials as of today. On my over-the-air, with an indoor antenna, TV I now get a black screen on Channel 35. No other new channels have appeared. I'm in Southwest Cuyahoga County. If I re-scan, what should I expect?
Thanks. What's on "Story Television"? I never watch infomercials.35.1 Story Television and the newly activated 35.12, which started running infomercials as of today.

Basically all the stuff they played on the History Channel before it became all about pawn shops, antique pickers, alligator hunters, and alien conspiracy theorists.Non-fiction, history, and Biography programs, among other things.
Subject of the lousy fall local T.V. schedules in another thread.Would be nice if WOCV picked up RetroTV. (I know it's probably not going to happen). A fair number of interesting odd-ball shows are run on RetroTV.
The Wiere Brothers slapstick comedy show is one that I'd really like to get a DVD of. It was on CBS, and lasted less than 20 episodes.Yes, that would be nice. There are lots of vintage odd-ball programs they could air, like this one:
Looks like WBNX is doing pretty good at the present time, given that they don't air any infomercials or shopping networks. That's very surprising for a station that is independently owned and operated. It would make sense for Weigel to purchase WBNX if it ever goes up for sale, given that they already carry most of their diginets, except for MeTV and Story Television.Could Weigel be setting their sights on a bigger signal in Cleveland, possibly 55 or 61? If and when 55 goes up for sale, there will probably be a bidding between Tegna, Nexstar, and Weigel.
It's morphed into "Classic TV"!It's sad when infomercials cannot even change with the times. Every once in a while while I'm staying overnight at a hotel and scan through the DirecTV guide (since I'm a long-time cord cutter) and I STILL see the infomercial entitled "Larry King's Special Prostate Report" airing from time to time...
...And Larry's been dead for HOW LONG now???
