They needed to stay @ Boyette until the backup transmitters where moved and fully functional. With the months delay everything stayed as is until we could move everything because of all the craziness. Yea it sucked and was a pain but it is what it is. Thank you for patiently waiting ;D

They went from 100kW @ 414 meters to 100kW @ 472 meters, with a small geographic change (They went 2.5kM south).
So yes, the signal would be much better.
