You KNOW it's gotta hurt the boy's ego when he boasts on his myspace that he's the new night dj and "Director of Rythym" and the replies are "great!! now bring Dana back!!" and "Good, when you get there, would you please tell them to stop playing the same 100 songs over and over?" and "I have 94.1 on my preset in the car, but it's the last one - could you bring back the 80's weekends?".... someone hand the boy a towel, I think he's bleedin'......
 
One thing for sure you guys and gals are always ready to jump on someone and kick them first chance you get.

Brad is employed full time in radio. End of story. That is success to a point. All of you have your wonderful ratings stories to flash on here. True or imagined.

Here's to Brad and everyone else having a great 2007.

I think it is extremely amusing to see all of you people totally showing why this industry is close to death. So one of you spoke to David Fields... I doubt it. Like he would be anything but totally excited and even moved by the fear the market has of one of his own. In regards to the hearts.... on the myspace page.. well didn't you ever hear that i takes a man to be able to explore his femine side. And for the guy who talked about Bob Pittman... well I don't know about you all, but I never heard of him. I'm sure he was the creator of MTV! Maybe he was the first person to watch MTV. For those who think I have an obsession with Brads Gilrfriend, well that is not true. God says don't covet thy wife.. well i read the Book and you people should as well. Christian values would do you all a world of good. I dont care about this thread but think its important that you all answer a few questions to challenge your knowledge of Brad and of his abilities.

1. Why do you think Brad needs conflict classes.

2. What is the reason for Brad's "Director of Rythym" Title.

3. Why do you think he can't hire DJ's/

4. Why shouldn't he be considered as a star by Entercom.

5. If you had to look him in the eyes and tell him why you disliked him.. what would you say?

6. What is the one thing you thnk Brad needs to do for you all to agree with his pending success.

7. Why is he not the next Bob Pittman or whoever did create MTV.

1. He's a JackA$$ to the people he works (worked) with...that'll get him in trouble one day.
2. Because they gotta think up something to call him.Apparently, it's a "SNappy" name for "Music Dubber"
3. Because with his ego, he wouldn't have hired somebody else to do afternoons when he knows he won't be doing mornings. Very easy question.
4.See response #1...and this stunt alone proves he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer
5.See response #1, coupled with this thread. I would say "Had the chance to" before "If I had to."
6. Pending success?...No such thing. There is only current and past success. Brad shows not much of either.

You got me on that one YUM. I did not speak to David Fields. I thought the purpose of this thread was to make up lies about our status and who we know in the radio field.

Your lie is your current (and future career) as a famous programmer.

Actually, no. I'd say what I've been saying. Brad, you need to work on your fundamentals so that you can do a better job. Right now, you're not that good.

I guess I am out of the loop here, but is Jerry Dean still in the cluster? He was here in Laas Vegas for many years, and went to Entercom.
That Oscar Rene/Marco guy I hear is trouble....A couple of PD's(once still in Corpus, the other in Wisconsin) say his "true" identity will surface in time, which WILL mean BIG trouble for all involved there. (stay in the closet, bro, check ID)
Why they decided to be another Urban AC, when they have 2 good ones already is beyond me. Sure haven't seen any ratings success there. Makes me glad I made my money and retired from this business.
I have nothing for or against Brad. I don't know him, nor do I know anyone that can say anything either way.
I wish any and all lots of luck in this crazy biz.
 
Jerry Dean is a great guy. He is one of the gems in this market. You really have to give Entercom props for having Jerry Dean and Brad in the same building.

ALSO I WILL HAVE A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT LATER TONIGHT THAT YOU WILL ALL LOVE... ALL OF THIS WILL BE SETTLED.

Right now I am in California on vacation, actually... I have been reading these posts wondering why this board gets so good, only when I leave town? THE BIG ANNONCEMENT

This post has been quite the thread. I however am upset that Brad is upset over your opinions. So I have come up with a way for all of this to get our thoughts out in person. It's historic.

INTRODUCING THE FIRST EVER "SNAP CHAT!"

Monday night, the 12th of Feb.... At 9 PM We will all converge onto one Partyline and have the greatest radio debate in Memphis Radio History. You will then know for sure that I am not Brad. And all are welcomed to attend. I would like to ask Meep to modearte this fair but lively debate. That is ofcourse his decision.

you've got to be kidding! I'm still on the internet for the big announcement and it turns out the big announcement is a chat! Sorry that I will not be able to attend this prestegious event. I will have some laundry to fold while watching WWE. (The sad thing is I am not joking.) Yummy, feel free to take my lack of interest in a chat as me being jealous over Brad and his masterful abilities. I am hoping that some day I can have Brad's baby.
