I dimly recall an article in the Reader several years ago about the licensee of XETRA at the time. If I remember correctly, the article said that the man had been concieved of an American father, maybe a Noble, and a Mexican mother so that as a Mexican citizen he could hold the license for the station. Again, if I remember correctly, the article was rather uncomplimentary concerning the fellow, it said he tooled around town in a Rolls Royce leaving behind a trail of unpaid debts. Does this ring a bell? A colorful story involving yet another colorful owner.
And a question, is this Nobel family of the same Nobles that were involved with the founding of ABC in 1941 or so?
