The kids have taken over. All I can say is I'm happy I grew up in the generation that I did.

This is going to be my first post on here. I have been watching and enjoying this board for years but it amazes me how many haters there are on here. Nothing anybody ever does is good enough or right. I happen to like The Lake because of the wide variety and the fact they are trying something totally different. Quadraphonic hit the nail right on the head with this post. Thanks for saying exactly what some of us were thinking. Though I'm sure some of the narrow minded ones will rip this post apart as usual.quadraphonic said:I would hate to think that all the music I would ever hear had the same texture, speed, tempo, volume, musical genre, same bands over and over.
Lots of people like variety.

I feel Dave is programming The Ride for Dave and honestly doesn't give a rats ass what we or anybody else thinks. I applaude him for that!

Does your musical taste literally follow a format?

A train wreck for me would be "Unforgettable" by Nat King Cole followed by "Holding Back the Years" by Simply Red.
