On the site where I get my Arbitron ratings they say it is classic hits. I reported it but the man has his own opinions and now there isn't even a way to report mistakes. At least he corrected WEZV in Myrtle Beach, which was listed as soft AC--but so was WJXA in Nashville. And it still is, even though it is like most ACs.carolinaradio said:

Meanwhile back at the Lake.... I don't think anyone has mentioned "The Lake" is jockless and will probably stay that way. Meanwhile I hear some of my old co-workers are teaching at the local broadcasting school. My question is: Why? Seems like the "air personality" "DJ" or whatever you choose to call them are going the way of the fireman (the guy in charge of keeping the fire going on steam engine trains) on the railroads.
Looks like if you want a career in radio it will be in sales or maybe IT keeping the servers playing the hits!
