WQRT RealTalk/Furman factor

Heard Furman on 1360 Fox Cincinnati Saturday --he went off on Houston Texans' OT Salaam...I almost drove off I-75 on my way to Reds game...now I hear he's on Fox Sports 3-7 all week...what's up?

Filling in, I guess. I don't know who is normally on in that slot.

Yup. Taking his scheduled vacation, going over there to recruit more fans to listen to his evening show on 1160.

Zach Wells, the former TV 19 sports anchor tried his handin talk radio Wednesday (1530)...again, TV types normally have no opinion so how can he suceed? He had Mike Cronin on previewing NEXT season???? Never asked about his job situation or why he can't win in February....no that's talk radio...too bad our sports talk in this town doesn't rate to the teams they talk about.

Almost forgot..what a hoot...did you hear the Enquirer's "hack" Paul Daugherty on with Furman yesterday? Real Talk 1160 at 5:30 pm.

I missed that. I tuned in late.

Now that the stream is i phone and droid friendly, i can "tune" Andy in, right here in the former "Motor City" and listen over the Sync.

Sounds better than FM.

I second that motion.

ohhh I hate advice shows, even when I agree with the person giving the advice. Buh-bye, Doc.

Man.... funny.

It's like the old Peanuts deal. Lucy's free advice, 5 cents. Its worth maybe that.

I do like Dr. Laura, though.

Anyway, Miller is easy to get and very entertaining. It would be ours for the taking, i am sure.
However, i'd really like to air McConnell, if he becomes available.

Understandable. I'm getting a kick out of the FB "friends" of WGN just HATING McConnell. Yet they continue to listen, God bless em. That's all that counts.

Do you listen, online?

Have they said where this weeks program is being produced from?

No I haven't been able to listen to McConnell online. At the day job, the IT folks prohibit us from any streaming sites because of bandwidth concerns.

Then when I get to ClassX in the afternoon, why on EARTH would I listen to anything else? I am my biggest....possibly ONLY...fan. ;-)

This weeks Fuhrman or McConnell program? McConnell is only on WGN and he is in the WGN studios.

McConnell.

Really? The magic of radio means that you can do the show from anywhere.
Rush, from the home front.
Sean from the basement, in his skivvies.
Ingraham from you name it.
Now, Ramsey is still in that great studio of his in Brentwood.
Just curious.

Either one would be great. I wasn't considering the McConnell angle, although at present he appears to be doing a Chicago centric show.
