Cleveland TV Revolving Door

I think Tegna is moving 3 to the news hub system where newscasts will originate out of a central or regional hub with little live actually coming from the local studios and Cleveland is not going to be one of those hubs.
Scripps is also said to be moving in that direction with 5 also not being a hub location.

Maybe these stations can sell their cameras. The don't seem to be needing them much longer.

He's a freelancer who does fill in work all over the state, including on channel 3's Tegna sister station WBNS CBS 10 in Columbus.

It's gonna be an interesting week or two ‐‐ strong rumors going on that Nexstar will be buying the Tegna stations soon. That would mean a possible WJW/WKYC merger. And with all the meteorologists at both stations, who knows what will become of the weather staffs.

It's a done deal. And yes, Mike was just filling in.

Local TV news is a mess. I only catch the weather after it's posted on WKYC's YouTube page.
