DirecTV, Dish Network and Time Warner Cable — representing more than 46 million subscribers — still are negotiating to carry FS1 on Aug. 17, which is when Fox will turn its motorsports channel, Speed, into a multisport network.
Ken said:Noticed that Time Warner in my area is removing Turner Classic Movies on basic and putting Speed future FOX 1 in its place. I remembered when Speed was on basic but got removed few years back.
Dan Dennis said:My hope is that FS1 continues to carry Supercross from January to May, and that Fuel will continue to carry Motocross from May to August. And I wish the AMA would get Motocross off of NBC Sports Network and put it back on FS1.
Continuing its long tradition of offering the best in world soccer to US fans, FOX Sports introduces FOX Soccer Daily, a live soccer news, highlights and analysis program airing weekdays on FOX Sports 1, America's new sports network.
I'd give it about a 90% chance it becomes Fox Sports 3 on September 2, when Fox Soccer flips to FXX. Fox Soccer Plus currently shows Rugby and Australian Rules Football, so Fox Sports 3 is a better fitting name anyway. Fox already has a Fox Sports 3 in Latin America (ironically there is no Fox Sports 1 - it is simply just Fox Sports).Ken said:A few people are mad FOX Soccer is going away over on the FOX Sports site I see. One mad the shows on at 4pm but can't watch because he will be with his team. Isn't that what DVR is for.
Also if FOX Soccer is going away that mean FOX Soccer Plus goes away too? Haven't heard anything regarding that channel.
William_Yeager said:I have seen one MMA article mention some bouts on Fox Sports 2 on Wednesday, August 28. Fox hasn't publicly confirmed the launch date of Fox Sports 2, but this means it will launch prior to FXX:
