I agree, jry. It baffles me why this is still a big deal on the board. You can do a radio show from almost anywhere.

It's kinda like the notion of "heritage calls". Matters to geeks like us, but the average listener cares not one iota.

Heritage calls are even less meaningful in the PPM world.
 
He's been pre-empted in Knoxville by Vol talk and pregame the last couple of Saturdays and probably will the rest of the football season. I didn't know he had a Sunday show.
 
His Sunday show replaces his Saturday show.

Fox Sports Radio streams on it's own website, I believe. Good back up if you don't have a station near you.
 
If you misse it..Furman and Friends, Monday night they were "live" at Nada's in Cincinnati with Bengal players Chris Crocker, Andrew Whitworth and Leon Hall. By the way, is Glen the new co-host? Is this thye same Glen from Mason?

I'm also hearing some "rumors" Jeff Davis, the former PD at Supertalk may be moving to Real Talk 1160..anyone hear that?

I believe Jeff Davis is doing traffic for CC now. Someone with that name certainly is.

I, and others, have tried to gently tell our beloved Furball on his FB page that promoting what was on his show YESTERDAY is..well...pointless. Promote what is COMING, not what is PAST.
 
I am a big Furman fan. I won't listen as long as he is using Glen from Mason as a co-host. I can not stand that race baiter.
 
Hey, Ilisten and Glen brings a great perspective as well as sports knowledge and passion. Sorry to sday, Uncas, it's (small) people liem you that bring race into the fray.

On another note, Big Mouth attorney wanna-be Eric Deters apparently didn't get the late night gig at WLW...even though he works at that place for free. That should tell you something.

And how come Channel 19 is a media partner with WLW and Channel 5 sports guys Broo and Vogel handler Sunday Bengal shows?

It tells me that he said early on that he didn't want the gig permanently.

He enjoys filling in, but his Attorney Life is far too important to be tied to a studio until midnight every single night.
 
Maybe the brilliant attorney couldn't figure out how to write a non-compete that he could live with. Or maybe he just had to be home at 10 p.m. on Tuesdays to watch "The Good Wife" to see how the law is REALLY practiced. Or maybe Darryl Parks has some really interesting Christmas party pictures featuring Eric and one of WEBN's "Babe Of The Day" candidates. Oops, my bad, I said "Christmas" when everyone knows it's now "Holiday" to be politically correct. Crap, now I may need an attorney and I've just honked off Eric Deters. Woe is me.
